House of Kabab / Beryani Esfahani: Reviews & Ratings
Isfahani Biryani and Daisy were amazing! Memorable place. Friendly, attentive, and professional throughout. Excellent service that made our dining experience even better!
This is absolutely one of the must-sees of Los Angeles. It's like a time travel to mid-century Iran. With all the original ornaments and decorations, it looks like a museum. They have a large variety of persian cuisine. Food quality is high. Though sometimes surprisingly overpriced. Cons: The owner likes to share and advocate her political views to customers, which is not the best choice for a food service business.
I have been eating here for 25 years. Great food. Great guy. Cool ambiance. Always hot and Fresh off the grill with a Smile Thank You for being here.
Best Kabob in town! Wow. I live 40 minutes away but so worth the drive. I recommend!
I orderer their Soltani beef it was delicious. It'll take some time (10-15 minutes) to get your order since it will be cooked/ grilled after you order which is nice since it'll be freshly cooked hot when served. They dont serve fountain soda, all are canned (Coca Cola products) at $2 each tax inclusive. The owner is a one-man team. He's cook, server and cashier. So I'm not sure if curb-side pickup will be on-time. Authentic Persian items embellishes the whole restaurant which gives it the unique ambiance while eating. A lot of photos of owner with some prominent people (speculating) adorns the tables and picture frames around the place. Parking is shared with other businesses in the establishment, it may be hard to find a parking spot. Must try: beef and chicken kubideh
Looks good, Taste not at all. Authentic environment but definitely there better Persian restaurants out there, I was very hungry so didn't check the reviews.

Welcome to House of Kabab / Beryani Esfahani, an authentic culinary gem nestled in Reseda, California, at 6800 Reseda Blvd. This vibrant establishment is not merely a restaurant; it's a cultural experience that transports you through the rich tapestry of Persian cuisine. When you step inside, you are greeted by an ambiance reminiscent of mid-century Iran, adorned with original ornaments and decorations that evoke a sense of nostalgia.
One of the outstanding highlights here is their famed Isfahani Biryani, praised by patrons like Vahid Moein for being unforgettable. The biryani is a delightful fusion of spices and textures, balancing perfectly cooked rice with tender meat, creating a dish that lingers on the palate. In addition to this, the restaurant's kabobs, especially the Soltani beef, are grilled to perfection, delivering that charred aroma that emanates from the grill, a testament to their commitment to freshness. As Richmond Paul Ruiz recounts, each order is made to ensure freshness, taking about 10-15 minutes but well worth the wait.
What adds to the charm of the House of Kabab is the personal touch of its owner, who not only cooks but also serves and engages with customers, enhancing the dining experience. However, one must note, as some patrons have mentioned, that the owner occasionally shares her political views, which might not resonate with everyone. Despite this, loyal customers like PAK SHIP ALL have been enjoying the food and ambiance here for decades, highlighting a consistency in quality and service.
The menu here offers a diverse array of Persian delicacies, ensuring there is something for everyone. From the succulent chicken kubideh to the flavorful combination plates, visitors leave with a renewed appreciation for Persian gastronomy. The ambiance, enriched with photographs of the owner with notable figures, crafts a unique dining backdrop that feels less like a restaurant and more like a cultural gallery.
In conclusion, House of Kabab / Beryani Esfahani isn’t just about the exceptional food; it's about the heartfelt atmosphere, the story behind each dish, and the warmth of the service. Whether you live 40 minutes away, like Deez Weez, or just around the corner, this culinary destination is certainly worth the journey.
